About Me

Hey there I am Jodie, a masters-level intern at YEG Family Counselling. I have had the privilege of working with adults, teens, Indigenous folks, immigrants, and refugees in order to support them with their mental health. I want to help people discover themselves on their journey towards to move towards greater emotional and psychological health, resilience, and a renewed sense of purpose and meaning in life. I offer sessions online and in person.

My Experience

  • Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology - Expected May 2025

  • Master of Science - Psychology

  • Bachelor of Science - Behavioural Science

When I'm not at YEG FC...

My favorite season is summertime for the sun and the warmth. For that reason, I love travelling to warm climates especially in the Caribbean. I am also passionate about food and I love to cook and try new restaurants. I also try to stay active by walking, weightlifting and Zumba weekly. When I'm not doing those things, I like playing board games with my friends, reading fiction novels, and watching mindless reality TV shows like Love is Blind. Lastly, I love fragrances and I look forward to any opportunity to improve my fragrance collection.

You got this. And we can help.
