Mental Health Therapy Intern

About Me
I am a Mental Health Therapy Intern, currently finishing my Master’s in Counselling Psychology (Fall 2026). I’m excited to work with anyone who is looking for support or curious about what they might gain from therapy. I’m especially passionate about working with neurodiverse individuals, and I love helping people better understand their brains while discovering what works for them—by drawing on research and validating their own lived experience. I enjoy supporting individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life and mental health challenges in a way that feels affirming, practical, and honest about the messiness and joys of real life.
My Ideal Client
I work with kids (6+), youth, families, couples, and individuals. I especially love working with:
INeurodiverse and/or queer kiddos, teens, individuals, and families;
Experienced in neuro-developmental diagnoses (like ADHD, TD, RAD, OCD, Autism, PANS, and PANDAS);
Supporting those experiencing burnout.

Working with Me
My style is conversational, collaborative, rooted in self-compassion, and neuro-affirming care. I am deeply influenced by attachment, nervous system work, and balancing that with practical and tangible strategies to hopefully make life a bit easier and lighter! I love to nerd out on all things executive functioning and sexuality, like healthy relationships, sexual functioning across different life stages and capacities, and the ways this intersects with broader themes of identity expression, regulation, and neurodiversity.
My Experience
Master of Counselling Psychology (student/ in progress) at City University of Seattle
When I'm not at YEG FC...
When I am not at work, I love spending time running, doing yoga, trying to find the best places for croissants and pizza in every city I visit, and exploring the river valley with my dog. In the summer, I also enjoy visiting my hometown in the Okanagan and engaging in activities like hiking, paddleboarding, swimming, and simply being outside. I also love comedy shows, which are my current favourite excuse to travel.
