About Me
I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor and Music Therapist who loves helping kids and teens understand their emotional experiences, their relationships with others, and who they are in the world they live in. I particularly enjoy supporting neurodivergent kids, teens, parents, and families in a welcoming, adaptable environment. That being said, I honestly enjoy supporting individuals, couples, and families at any point in their life; we all need help navigating ourselves, our relationships, and our circumstances sometimes.
My Ideal Client
I work with individuals (4+) across the lifespan, couples, parents, and families. I especially love working with:
Kids and youth working on emotional and behavioural regulation, anxiety, depression, and meaningful social connection;
Families, especially focusing on the parent-child relationship;
Neurodiverse children, youth, and adults; and
Neurodiverse families.

Working with Me
I strive to provide a warm, safe, and welcoming space for all people to express themselves, ask questions, and take time to work through experiences. My approach is laid back and playful, fueled by curiosity and a desire to get to know you. I value relationships and look forward to learning about the people in your life. Sessions may involve sitting across from one another and talking, or we might play a game or draw while we chat - whatever feels most comfortable to you.
In more formal language, I work from a person-centred approach with a focus on attachment theory. This means that I believe you are the expert on you, and I value the importance of relationships in how we develop as children and relate to others and ourselves throughout our lives. We can decide together how directive you would like our sessions to be.

When I'm not at YEG FC...
I am most likely playing outside with my partner and energetic toddler! I love being outside and spend as much time in nature as possible. I especially love cold weather and dream of snow all year round. When I get a chance to sit down, I dive into magical novels, play guitar, or pick up a half-finished craft project (there are always a few to choose from).
