About Me

I am a Mental Health Therapy Intern working towards completing my Master's in Counselling Psychology. I am currently in the final year of my program and I am SO excited to put my learning into action.

I have a strong passion for working with children, youth, and neurodiverse folks. I also have an extensive background fostering inclusivity and working with neurodiverse youth in the education system.

My Ideal Client

I work with kids (6+), youth, individuals, couples, and families.   I especially love working with:

Neurodiverse folks, especially teens;

Individuals navigating life transitions;

Individuals navigating anxiety/perfectionism; and Athletes/performers.

Working with Me

My style is relaxed, compassionate, strength-based, and conversational. I also enjoy the tasteful use of humour within session. I am a firm believer in the notion that all behaviour is meaningful, and that each individual possesses their own unique strengths that can be identified, acknowledged, and built upon throughout the therapeutic journey in order to promote positive change. I gravitate towards narrative and solution-focused approaches to counselling as I feel drawn to the strength-based and non-pathologizing foundations of these theoretical orientations.

My Experience

Master of Counselling Psychology Student -- City University of Seattle

Bachelor of Arts, Psychology -- University of Alberta

When I'm not at YEG FC...

I love going for walks, ideally in the summer or autumn, as the cold Edmonton winters are not my cup of tea! I love animals (cats in particular, I have four of my own). I am also a big Pokemon nerd, and I love playing the games for some lower energy self-care in my downtime.  Fun Fact: I also have a background in competitive hip hop dance. Despite transitioning away from the competitive scene, I still love to use dance and music as a way to keep my body active and my ADHD brain happy and engaged.

You got this. And we can help.
